Raw plug-in Updated The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in, created to handle RAW file format images from a variety of cameras, has been updated. The Photoshop camera raw plug-in functionality provides fast and easy access within Photoshop software to the proprietary raw image formats produced by many leading professional and midrange digital cameras. According to Adobe, by working with these digital negatives, you can achieve the results you want with greater artistic control and flexibility while still maintaining the original raw files. Visit the support section of Adobe's web site for the latest download of this update. Adobe plans to update the plug-in as necessary to keep up with new cameras being released. Think about creating an Action that adds your copyright info (or captions, notes, etc.) to the File Info of an image. You can then run the Batch command to add that same copyright info to folders filled with images. (This tip found at Mac Design Online.) Save For Web Preview Tip When using the Save for Web dialog, you can closely approximate how your image will look on different platforms by using the arrow in the upper right corner of the preview pane and selecting the platform you want to see.
