September Meeting Information
The September Photoshop SIG meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Voorhees High School in room 245. This is the first meeting since the summer break and will kick off the new season. Members who wish to bring images for discussion or troubleshooting during the meeting are encouraged to do so.
2003 Schedule
The meeting dates for the remainder of 2003 are as follows:
September 18th
October 16th
November 13th
December 18th
Please note that these dates are the Thursday after the monthly MACNJ meetings, but they are not necessarily the second Thursday of each month (which jumped before and after the Saturday meetings) as they were over the last year of meetings. PSIG members should look online at the Photoshop SIG section of the MACNJ website for the latest information.
Color management online seminar
Apple is offering an online seminar entitled Color Management for your Digital Workflow. The seminar includes a look at ColorSync, third-party solutions for managing color, and how to create, use, and manage color in your environment. Information is presented as a series of QuickTime movies, and broadband is recommended. The seminar is free, but you will need to register. For this and other Apple seminars visit http://seminars.apple.com/seminarsonline.
PhotoPlus Expo
The PhotoPlus Expo East once again returns to the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, and runs from October 30 through November 1. Adobe is on the exhibitor list, as well as many camera manufacturers. Additional information and registration can be found at the official website at http://www.photoplusexpo.com.
