Tips and Tricks
Reducing Photoshop File Size
To reduce the size of your Photoshop .psd files, go under Preferences, and under File Handling, uncheck the box that says "Always Maximize Compatibility for Photoshop PSD Files.”

Sample Color from Anywhere
In previous versions of Photoshop, the Color Picker Tool would only work with open documents in Photoshop. However, in version 7, you can sample color from anywhere on your screen.

Sharpening Skin Tones in CMYK
To get the best effect when sharpening skin tones in CMYK mode, apply the filter to only the Cyan channel of an image.
