October Meeting Information
The October meeting of the Photoshop Special Interest Group will be held on Thursday, October 17th in room 245 of Voorhees High School, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. The simplest way to get there is to enter building on the far right (as you face the building from the parking lot) and go up the stairwell that will be on your right as you enter the building. Take the stairs to the 2nd floor. As you come out the stairwell doorway, keep going, around two corners. Room 245 will be on your left. After October’s meeting, the monthly meetings will move to the second Thursday of each month.

After you have joined our site and have logged in, click on any of the textures you want to download them. The free textures can be found at http://content.autofx.com/utc.asp. Tips and Tricks
Remove Gradient Banding
To eliminate Gradient banding in your prints, go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. When the dialog opens, enter 2 for Amount, Gaussian distribution and check the Monochromatic box. Now just hit OK.
Tips and Tricks: One-click Layer Select
You can Command + click on a layer in the layers palette to automatically select everything in that layer. This works best when there's small, complex objects on a layer.
Tips and Tricks: Quick Zoom
There is a quick way to zoom your view in Photoshop. Press Command and “+” (the plus sign) to zoom in or Command and “-” (the minus sign) to zoom out.
