Yep,we have a meeting this Saturday. Here's a copy of Bill's email about the meeting:
his is the time of year to get outside, get active, do things and enjoy ourselves. I'm sure many of you have vacation plans firmed up and are ready to go. To the shore? To the mountains? These will be times to remember and times to record - digitally of course!
We know our Macs provide all the basics - iPhoto, iMovie and Garageband for really professional results even from amateurs as most of us are. In the June meeting, we'll not only be hosted by Voorhees High School, but we'll get a tour of the video lab from Jeremy Brandt, TV/Video Teacher (JBrandt@nhvweb.net).
Voorhees has excellent facilities for training and production of digital sight and sound. Jeremy will introduce us to the basics of the local network, Remote Desktop, their use of iChat and a bit of Garageband thrown in for good measure. Sounds like a lot to me. Sounds like a meeting I don't want to miss either.
We'll start out at our usual location in the Band Room. After taking care of monthly business, Q&A and more, we'll relocate to the editing lab/studio/control room. Jeremy will show us what kind of magic they conjure up there.
So mark down, Saturday morning, June 13th. You'll be all prepared for the summer. In the fall, you can show us everything you've done. How about that? |
