I use ClarisWorks version 4.0 v5 and AppleWorks 5.0.3, on my Macintosh Performa 637, to do all my desktop publishing (including the newsletters and posters), to organize the school's software resources and the PTO volunteers in database, to make labels for my jellies, to calculate amounts to order for brochure fund raisers (spreadsheet), and much more. Most are "do able" in other versions, but you will find some tools or features are in a different location in the menus.
